Olesya Palko, DPM, is a licensed podiatrist practicing in Tampa and Brandon, FL.
Dr. Palko received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, summa cum laude, from North Carolina Central University and her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree, cum laude, from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where she was a member of the Pi Delta Honor Society. She completed her residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York, NY, where she was a chief resident in her last year of training. Her clinical training placed emphasis on wound care, trauma, minimally invasive surgery and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.
Prior to medical school, Dr. Palko was a researcher at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, co-authoring five publications in leading medical journals, and an NCAA Division I tennis player. A native of Kyiv, Ukraine, Dr. Palko moved to Florida from New York with her husband, a Tampa local. Dr. Palko's hobbies include hiking, biking, exercising, playing tennis and playing with her rescue cat, Tria, and sphynx cat, Anubis.
As an athlete, Dr. Palko understands the importance of foot and ankle health, and the extent to which foot and ankle injuries can impact everyday life. She makes each patient her top priority and is excited each day to help people become healthy and stay active.
